I am looking for reasonable vid editing sw .. which may include DVD burn tool or what is the best tool to burn those file to DVD format ?

Hi,
I'm a very big fan of Adobes product line. Once you got the work flow down in one program (like Photoshop) you can pretty easily adapt to any of their other programs.
I played around a bit with Premiere and was pretty happy about that. Depending on what you want to do I think After Effects might do the trick as well, but I would go for Premiere. I believe it has the DVD option you mention.

A little pricey - but I have to add a +1 to that.
FCP is very robust on a Mac, and I prefer the UI as well.
Unfortunate that it's Mac only.
