Per the recommendations around here for SterlingTEK's batteries I ordered 3 of them early Thursday the 21st. They sent out an email stating they shipped them and included a FEDEX tracking number. Unbelievably they made it from New Mexico to Massachusetts within a day and were out on the truck for delivery promptly at 8:46am this morning according to the FEDEX tracking info. Well 6:30pm came around and no batteries!! I went back to the FEDEX site to see what's up and see that the batteries were back at the FEDEX facilities at 5:50pm. The details read,"Package not due for delivery".

Well my new batteries had a nice ride around central Massachusetts and I'll have to wait until Monday now before I recieve them. They were originally estimated to arrive Monday anyhow. Frustrating....the FEDEX facilities is only about 20 miles away.

Thanks for posting the link. I had happened across Sterlingtek before but misplaced the link ( and forgot the name) and have been in dire need of a couple of spare batteries. I just ordered 2 for my 20D. Hope they travel quick.

This is one reason I have decided to buy the Pentax *istDS instead of a Canon. It can use either rechargeable or alkaline AA batteries. Many years from now, as long as the camera is still working, I'll be able to get batteries for it. The other reason is all that Pentax K-mount glass I already own and just cries out to be put to use digitally. :)
