I was covering a Royal visit to a local school today.
Prince Edward was in town to open a new school theatre.

The white balance seems to be off a bit, but that could just be the color of his shirt...

Have you considered sending the second shot to your local newspaper? It's a good capture!

Thanks for the comments, I guess your right he does look a little tense.

Thought Peter/c bit about the new sister in law was nice.

I was actually working alongside my mates from the local press and had the job of getting the outdoor shots for the school, and needed where possible to include school buildings / sign / school kids as well as Prince Edward of course.
this event was low key with no vast crowds.

Not the brightest of days but decided to shoot without any fill flash & thought the 1Dmk2 handled well mainly used 17 to 40L at iso 320 . with 28 to 135 on my back up body. even used 100 to 400 on a few.

Dont really think I had a colour ballance issue it was a pale yellow shirt not white.

In the first one I think he noticed my 1D mk2 and was making a move for it.
OK guys dont panic, he failed to prize it from my hands.
