On vacation in British Virgin Islands I took a lot of palm and sunset shots. I try to have a focus when I go on a trip. Would you like to see more?

the tree is really cool, but i would clone out the swing, i think it's distracting.

Unusual Palm Tree in front of a GREAT Sunset. Nice shot. :D
I wonder how much that palm tree flexes when somebody's using the swing?

It doesn't flex very much at all and it is very uncomfortable to use however I think it makes the shot. True caribbean flavor.
Thanks for the input and please excuse the posting blunders. Ten months ago I had never used a computer.

Beautiful sunset Steve! In the 2nd shot you need to level the horizon so all the water doesn't run off :)

I disagree. I think the swing sets the mood in the photo. I'd like to be there IN the swing.

I feel a mix of both, kind of distracting but I always feel it kinda needs to be there, now if it were a hammock that would be cool :) I wish that it had been taken a few mins earlier so it would have some more warmth to it, but other that awesome shot!!
And the second one is GREAT!

I think the swing sets it apart from the standard palm tree/sunset classic shot. Very Good.

I like the picture alot, I think I would clean up the water and remove the bird from the right side of the pic.

I like the first one as well but for those who weren't into the swing and the bird this is how it would look.
Steve, hope you don't mind. Your shot is beautiful though!

I like the original shot as is, including swing, Birds, etc. The only minor critique I might make is that the horizon isn't quite level, but not enough to really bother me. :D

The photoshopped one isn't very good, I can still see where everything was...and all the clone brush marks. I really like those shots, love to see more.

Don't clone out the swing. The original shot is just fine.

I suck at PS! I just did it in like 3 minutes for a "general idea"
