View Full Version : Rebel XT or Card losing Pictures

I have the Canon Rebel XT and I bought a 512mb Lexar Professional card. I have noticed that I will take about 10 photos and then go to load them on the computer that I only have 3 pictures. It does not happen all the time but it has happened to me twice now. Has anyone ever heard of this? I am not sure if it is my camera or the memory card. Any help would be appreciated.

So you have heard of this before? What can I do about it? Besides returning the card (got it off the internet so might be hard to do).

Answer from Lexar is that I needed to format in FAT32 initially and going forward. So far seems to be ok...for now.
