Does anyone have foucusing problems with their 20D? I am using the same lens that I used on my Rebel (30-105mm 3.5) but for some reason the pics just aren't that sharp with my 20D. I don't know where to start to solve the problem.

just got my 20D a couple days ago and shooting with my Tamron that was on my old Drebel. So far, everything seems OK. Can you post example pics w/ EXIF info? that usually helps everyone start the diagnosis of the problem.

Biggest help for me was using one of the creative modes and center point focus (p. 67). Then examine the data and see if your depth of field is an issue.

always nice to include a pic with these types of querries. Dont forget the exif data as well. That way help will be much more precise.

Yes, unfortunately I am on my second 20D. It seems to focus in back of several of my subjects. I use single point focus, single shot mode, both manual and sports, it dosen't seem to matter. My drebel didn't have problems with any of the same lenses I'm using now.

no problems here...i do notive variations in quality between different lenses, but as for the 20d no focus issues.

my 20D overall doesn't have focus issues, but one of my lenses I've noticed a slight back focusing issue with. Everything focuses fine on my other lenses, so I'm blaming it on the lens and going to get it looked at by the manufacturer (Tokina).
