I thought the first one was a glass chatchkie at first, then I saw the rest. I don't know anything about this type of photography but I know what I like. Good shots! What does the shutter speed have to be at to capture a clear picture like that?

I'm loving the water, but is there any significance for the Coffee can and Pepsi bottle in 1 and 3? It takes a LOT of focus away from the droplets...

Love the abstrac quality of the first shot but would have to agree about the pepsi can.
try manipulation to get rid of the background

I don't think it would matter because of the reflection through the droplet... It would look kind of weird if he removed the pepsi can, but there was still that blue in the water...

I add the coffee can and pepsi to give some color to the water droplet. The disposal of the coffee can and pepsi is not good. I think I should put them on a higher location so that they will not included in the background, but I have not the bracket at the time.
I think the light is very important. At the time, I got only one 50w tungsten bulb handy to provide light, so I have to use the integrated flash, which is a compromise. As you can see, some parts of the water are overexposure.
I used Canon Powershot S60, set to M mode, 1/250 sec (that's the fastest speed of integrated flash), f3.2, focus lock, flash adjust to middle output. The picture are cropped, because magnification of S60 is low and I can't let the lens close to the water.

Haha, because of the limited budget, I have to learn and see how crazy a S60 can be. :D
