Lighting Ratio for Background Light?

I just recently added a background light (AB800) to my lighting arsenal. Are there any recommended lighting ratio's with regards to the background light?

What is your light meter reading for the background light compared to your key light?

There is really no easy answer to this & you should just run a few tests for your set up.
Differences come from fabric/paper/other backgrounds & the background color vs. the light (gelled?) color, not to mention the total effect that you're after.
