Taken at the bar at my university on Thursday night. Photos show lead singer Nathan Hudson. This guy is crazy, all over the stage (and as you can see even on top of the speakers)

6 and 8 are really nice. 2 is nice aswell. It's mostly the lighting that's keeping me from liking the other shots, although some of them aren't really interesting aswell (especially number 1)...

2, 6 and 8 are pretty alright... maybe a little hot on the face on #2. The rest - if you liked 1 brighten his face up a bit in photoshop, it's pretty underexposed. #3 just isn't flattering... #4 could be good if he was a bit brighter, as it is the light kind of takes your eyes away from him. #5 again not all that interesting/flattering a moment.
#6.... I like this one, his eye contact really adds something here. #7 lacks a dynamic edge - he's just holding his hand out, no sense of movement or tension. #8 I like.
#9 is alright, not a great facial and again lacks that dynamic element... #10 his face and shoulders look pretty blown. Ditto #11 with the blown comment, though more the arm there.
Nice work... did you enjoy shooting a gig?

Thanks Jim, Great to hear from someone who shoots gigs themselves. My screen must still be a tad off because the overexposure doesnt seem to be much of an issue on his face on my monitor. I was however going for a high contrast/slightly blown B&W look in those last few, would be interested to see how others think they work (or don't?)
All in all, i loved shooting the gig, its something i want to get into doing more of. Shooting Josh Pyke in a few weeks which should be good too.

#6 and 8 for me as well.
#3 would have been great if it were in focus and the expression was good. As it is, I'd bin it.
