Shot this picture yesterday. Spring seems to finally be arriving and a little bit of sunshine really makes a big difference when trying for an outdoor portrait.
Took this with a borrowed 28-135 IS lens, and touched it up a little to get the levels correct etc.
Opinions welcomed

Beautiful woman. Nice pose. No distractions.
I shouldn't complain, I don't have subjects with her natural beauty. But, is she human, Barbie, or Maxxim-ized? The teeth whitening, eyeball blood vessel removal, glamour skin over-smoothing, sharpening, dodging, burning Maxxim look.... Where are we going with PS? Just a tad more natural unprocessed skin please. I should keep my trap shut since I can't do better!

Thanks Maz. Maybe should have mentioned the sun was coming from behind and I fired the on-board flash - or maybe that's obvious. When set to Av mode it works as a fill-in light. Lens was set at about 110mm.

Hey I kinda like the Maxxim-zed look! :)
The thing I think really helped to improve this pic was to increase the satuation levels a bit. That might make her eyes a little more green, but just a little. The teeth are all her own!

The hair looks just a tad too blown out for my taste, but that could be either the brightness of the sun, or just simply from adjusting contrast levels a bit too much...
Other than that, awesome shot! Composition is good, and the smile doesn't actually look forced!
I bet the shadows were hard to work with, though, right? I'm kinda picky about shooting with the sun behind my subjects, unless it's a sunset shot, which is so freakingggggg difficult!!!
Any more from this series?

Lovely lighting and gorgeous subject but does look a little over 'processed' to my taste.

Pardon my language, but are those eyes real? ;)

I love the shot. I would try having the subject show less "eye-white" to make it a little cleaner, but it's still a lovely shot.

I'm guessing colored contact lenses ... human eyes don't come in that shade of green.
I think it's an excellent shot, Wavy ... nicely done!

Wow, great shot. Fix up the hair frizz in PS and it'd be even better.

BTW, I would remove the 2 tiny flash reflections on her bottom lip. I tiny detail but it caught my eye.

...and the one in the corner of her right eye next to the bridge of her nose. Good shot.

Great portrait! Are Her eyes Green? They are very Beautiful, and yet "Deadly" looking at the same time, if you know what I mean. ;)
