I need all the help I can get with this one, I love the shot, but I cannot get it to look right no matter what I do...... HELP

it just seems too photoshopped to me, i cropped it, did the B&W conversion, adjusted the the B&W, then it looked funny so I sharpened it a lil , and now it looks like crap to me.. all I wanted was a clean simple B7W closeup

it seems out of focus to me now too....... I know it wasn't the orriginal is falwless except its HUGE and color........

more contrast. less gray. make whites WHITE and blacks BLACK! turn image editing on and i can give an example

Looks like a pretty good B&W closeup to me. Can you post the uncropped color version?

you should have an account at photobucket. they down size it for you to 1024 on the side and its free.

it does i agree. but you also have the original color to work with. i was showing you what whites and blacks should look like. your image has no pop and its oversharpened. get BW Filter Julian's way + Curves. its a free action for PS and helps greatly in BW conversions
