I guess I really don't like round and round racing, especially practice sessions. Exercising the new 40D and practice some panning and it beats a day at work.

Looks like fun. I like to take Indy car pics too. What shutter speed were your panning shots taken at?

2- 1/640
3- 1/640
4- 1/200
5- 1/250

I have a couple I didn't post at 1/125. They're OK, but not sharp enough for me when the cars are going 215-225 MPH.

Yes im sure, I have never tried a 200 + mph pan, 175 or so fastest I have tried.
