Folks,

I've read a good many of the threads in here and I can't seem to wrap my head around how it all works. I have successfully sync'ed the two times. Now I'm trying to find the most effective way to imbed the data into the images whilst using Lightroom?

Can someone take the time to clearly explain how I find the GPS Data and embed the EXIF data into my photographs?

Finally, what method would you use to post the photos privately to the web using google earth?

Thanks again for all your help.

Cheers,

Matt

I use Downloader Pro to embed the GPS data in my image files, but it should work similarly with Lightroom. You need to save a track from your GPS onto your computer (or connect the GPS to the computer while georeferencing the photos) and point the program to that dataset. Then the application will read the track data and embed it in the image's metadata as it processes it. The specific application will say which track data formats it can read; there are conversion applications that can be used if your GPS doesn't support one of them.
