What exposure setting do you use when shooting youth Basketball?
What are you asking, which aperture, shutter speed and ISO are used? Or which exposure program?
The answer to the first question is there is no way anyone can tell you which settings to use in your gym since we've never been there and have no way of knowing what the ambient light levels are like.

Sorry. I meant to ask what Metering Mode. I shot the game Sat and used center weighted. I used ISO 1600 in M with my 85 1.8. I got some good shots of my 9yr old. Mostly defensive shots since she realy never got the ball on the offensive end.

If your shooting in Manual the metering mode shouldnt really make a big difference... I stay on evaluative in M just for reference the VERY few times I look while in M.
The real question is why do you ask that question? Was there something particular that did not turn out correct?
