Just curious if I'm becoming obsessive with my dog.
I have 3.35 gig, 1,052 files in my "Rusty" folder. He just turned 4.
Anyone else care to share?
Here is one from today... (those are bugs not sensor dust)

I sometimes call my dog 'mi perrita bonita' in Spanish.I guess that counts as two languages?

I wouldn't even try to guess how many shots I've taken of our Labs. If I have my camera near me, and it's usually sitting on the dining room table ready to go, there's going to be many shots taken.
We have 7 Labrador Retrievers (had 8 of our own until last November) and at any given time we may have friends Labs staying with us. My wife and her friend went to a dog show last October and took 1 Lab. They left me alone for 4 days with 14 Labs ... I took a couple photos! :)

We have 3 dogs and 1 cat. My wife is a pet photographer and our pets are her practice models. They even pose on command :D
I see her taking photos of these guys all the time. I will ask my wife about the amount of data and number of files. I guess I am going to hear a biggggggggggg number.

Nope! Not at all! Labs happen to be very food oriented. They each finish their own bowl of food and the faster eaters sit and wait, then thay check each others bowl and area to be sure the others never miss anything. And the bowls themselves are spotless when they are done :)
The photos above are when I go into the kitchen and rattle the top on the dog cookie jar. They come running and wait for me to call their names before taking the cookie.

He's so photogenic I can't imagine you could get through an hour much less a day without grabbing your camera. Great looking dog!

It's my dog's 7th birthday today. I have over 2700 pictures of him. I am just as enamored with him today as I was the day I brought him home when he was 7 weeks old and fit in the palm of my hand. My manager at work and I constantly war over who's dog is cuter. Obviously mine.
This is a candid shot I got of him with my old point and shoot like 2 years ago! Greatest dog ever.

Thats what I meant.......... Labs are very trainable, we managed our 2 very well, until meal times, then all hell broke loose. By the time they'd finished the bowls didn't even smell ;)

Admit it, that's not a real dog, but a wool dog shaped cushion :)

OMG! We have 3, and at feeding time they are trained to sit in front of their food dish until I release them to eat. I can't imagine how it is to feed 7, let alone 14. Hats off to ya!

I try. Every day. I tell him, "P.J. my love, you are not a cat." And then he just looks at me from his perch on the chair and goes back to sleep.
He is a lost cause, really. That is why I love him.

I have 6 dogs and have taken tons of pics of them. I started taking them 5 years ago when I got my first digital camera.
This is my rescue Lab/mix I found on the street last year. She is soooo sweet!

I've taken 3-4 thousand photos of my cat and he's only 1 yr. old :) I deleted half of them, only keep the good ones.

I've had my T1i for 2 months. I've already shot thousands of pictures of the dog and cats, kept the couple hundred good ones. I take pictures every day at dog park and shoot the cats every night.

To put it simply I've got more photos of my sixteen animals than I have of people. These are my most recent. Sorry- not yet had the chance to edit them out.

You can never have too many animal pics. They always look good, don't mind having their picture taken and can sit still for a lot longer than a human!

It's really no big deal! It'a all in what you get used to and tolerate. A friend has 3 dogs. They came to visit and we said we'd put our 8 Labs away. They insisted we didn't have to but by the end of the evening, they were a little overwhelmed at so many dogs being around.
How do we let our Labs in? (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M0dFzGt5CUY)
