Does anybody knows if there's an adapter to use EF lens 58mm on G10?

No, I don't believe it's possible. Is there even a 58mm EF lens? Are you talking about a 58mm filter, or a whole lens?

You can't remove the G10 lens so no complete lens would work. The adapter ring they provide is to attach an auxillary lens. IMO the result is too compromised to justify buying and carrying it.

Well, I have the EF Zoom Lens 75-300 and would like to use on the canon g10.

Pretty much the answer. The g10 is what it is. If you want an SLR you should look at an SLR. I think the entry level ones are a similar price to the g10...

Even if you could physically attach it, and you can't, what results would you obtain as the G10's sensor size is so much less than that on any of Canon's DSLRs?

Mind you, if anyone can figure out a use for FD lenses on a modern camera I'd love to know.

Here's a link to an example of someone attaching a lens to a G9 to see what kind of macro shot they could get. Otherwise, you can't get there from here with your want list.

hmmmm...for macro work I've seen some people reverse slr lenses and get ok results but why?

Lensmate or Canon lens adaptor tube <-> 58mm/58mm coupling ring <-> any EF lens with a 58mm filter thread.

You then have a bulky macro setup that is starving for a special flash setup.

Way easier to buy the Lensmate or Canon lens adaptor tube <-> various 2x telephoto lenses made for the G10/G9 or the various wide angle/macro lenses that are out there on the web for sale.
