We recently visited Warm Springs, GA, where FDR came for many years to treat the symptoms of polio. After he was elected President, his cottage was referred to as the "Little White House". In addition to the grounds, there is an interesting museum that contains much memorabilia from his tenure. When he died here in 1945, a portrait was being painted. The unfinished portrait is on display still.

Nice shots. Thanks for sharing. No problem taking photos inside? some museums frown on it.

Thanks, Sandy. As I've found in many museums and historic buildings, photography is allowed as long as no flash is used. This portrait was well lit, so I shot it at 100 ISO. Inside the house, I used 800 ISO a few times.

Having been involved in a local museum, they would allow some photos if you got permisson. The reason they gave was the fear of people taking an inventory, finding the value of certain items and possible coming back and stealing some things. I know in the old days they were afraid of the old fashioned flash bulbs bursting and starting a fire.
