I like number 2 better because it has less grass in front. Also, number 1 looks a little dark on the top left.

Clouds behind the barns looks better to me.. might even crop out the dark trees to the right..

I like #2 because of the framing and the small detail of being able to see through the building. The sky in #1 is more pleasing to me though, so it's a tough choice :P

Eitherway, there seems to be a tiny bit of ghosting in the tower in both of them... did you auto-align them?

The clouds are more of a unifying backdrop in number 2,
spanning both sides of the barn.

I like the clouds and contrast better in #2. Both need contrast and saturation.

I normally take three different contrasts then blend them using Photomatix Pro 3. However, it all depends on what your style is! Experiment and find out which suits you best.

I however love the cloud formation in picture number one! And yes, try beefing up the contrast and saturation for a more vivid effect. Happy shooting.

Number 1 has a lot more depth, it's too bad you can't take the sky from one and put it on the other.

Like #1 better. I like HDR in wide-angle compostion. Great work!

Most old, run down barns look better the further away you are from them, so compositionally, I prefer number 1 but in truth, I think that scene would look better from a 100 yards further back then where it was shot.

Cheers!

I like number one. I don't feel crowded.. like I would driving up against the steering wheel...

My fav would have to be the second image. I feel that the way you have composed the shot makes the buildin look larger directly giving more of a "you are there" feeling. But with that said I like both images and there both well done.
