Motion detection on 450D?

Is there any way to get my 450D to take a photo whenever movement is detected whilst connected via USB to a PC? I was thinking it would be pretty cool to setup a bird feeder and prefocus the camera whilst on a tripod and only take photos when a bird is at the feeder.

I also have a S2 IS with CHKD firmware on it which I believe will do motion detect but obviously I would prefer the quality from my 450D.

Possible or not?

To my knowledge, not with the canon software or any other that I know of.

But thanks for giving me another idea to add to my 'multi-controller' I am building for my cameras. So now I'll have sound, light, time lapse and motion.
