These are my picures from jason aldean show on 5/8/09 in Salisbury Maryland. The Venue was pretty decent in size and the lighting was standerd concert lighting. Taken with a Rebel XTI with a 18-55mm lens, front row, stage was set high:

These are photos from another jason aldean show on 5/6/09. At B.B. Kings bar and grill in NYC. the place was a pretty small venue, and got quite smokey when they put on the fog machine. Front of stage. Stage was low to the ground. Taken with Rebel XTI and 18-55mm lens.

Hmmm.
A few pointers: Don't use flash as main light, use tungsten white balance, and use high ISO.

Also, if you use an automatic mode (Av, P), I'd use evaluative metering and EC if needed.
Exposure is quite a bit off on most of these, which is a pity, cause I think some of the moments are nice.
