O.k I know what they are but we don't have that type of thing here in NZ so I just had a few queries.

Are senior photographers hired by the schools or is that up to the parent or individual?

Do senior photographers charge on a case by case basis or is it determined on what the individual wants and if so how much would it cost?

I take it seniors are high school as opposed to varsity/college?

I've seen so many stunning senior photos on this board which just amaze me!

It's very much an american thing, but as more and more US culture makes it's way here, and into our schools I can see it being a potenital market.
In the US it is high school students in thier last year.

If you want to try and create it as a market here you would need to target a similar market, 16-18 year olds.
Go after the parents, as they will be the ones with money to start with.
If can deliver traditonal, as well as funky modern images you might be able to after the subjects themselves.
