The digital camera world was something I considered a novelty about 3 years ago. I bought a Concorde EYE Q camera to take pictures to post on Ebay and goof around with, and with that camera, it was a novelty. I started doing some research on the subject and stumbled across this site, namely Pekka's "Seven Months with a Canon G1" gallery. I was literally blown away. I had absoulutely no idea that a digital camera could take that quality of photo without costing an arm and a leg. I sent a lot of digital sceptics to this site. I purchased my first true digicam because of this site. I own a 10D and a G2 because of this site. My photography interest has been re kindled because of this site.

Adding my two sense in......I should thank you as well. When I first started this forum was a life saver.....getting easy access to a ton of people who are well experienced with DSLR photography made the transition so easy. Now, this forum has become a great place to get feedback on purchase decisions etc.
