Modifying EE to display wood turnings

Anyone with hints on how to start the process of changing the lables and dropdown menus to reflect something other than photographs? I'd like to display in a exhibition some of my 300 or so wood turnings. I have medium and big images already and I'd just have to build microthumbnails.

PS - thanks Pekka for putting EE out in the world. It is almost as cool as your photographs. I first got tuned into this site because I've a G2.

You can do this without much effort with multilingual EE (1.3 release, soon). All menus and texts are translated which also means you can change their content easily. Database does not really care if you call a "photographer" an "engraver", "artist", "sculptor" or so.
