EXCELLENT! That Voigtlander Bessa RT3 Is a rangefinder, isn't it?
Film still rules in the world of B&W, IMHO. ;)

thank you guys :)

Bruce: yes, Bessa is a rangefinder with Leica M mount (you can read about it here: http://www.cameraquest.com/voigtr2ar3a.htm ).

I bought a Canonet about 2 month ago, just to see if I like shooting film, and try something completely different from the DSLR experience (manual focus, film, rangefiner). I thought that a Canonet is the least expensive way to do that. Well, I really liked shooting film. I was even going to buy EOS 3, when my Canonet died. Then I realized that I am hooked on rangefinders, so I ordered a Bessa R3A instead of the EOS.

Actually, I still miss my Canonet, it's cheap, but it's amazing. And so quiet! A think it's a perfect street camera. I sent it for repair, and hope it can be fixed for not too much money.

Yup! I've been looking into these myself. So far I've picked up a Yashica GSN, Yashica Lynx 5000, & Konica Auto S2. I'm looking at the Canonet QL G-III, and the Yashica Lynx 14E. Still have an Olympus XA, as well as an XA2. You're right, they're Fast and quiet, as well as fun to shoot.
These rangefinder cameras are perfect for street photography with film. ;)

Lovely pic. I love rangefinders! I had one as my first camera when I was a kid, and I still have it. :D

Nice photo, I've got a Bessa R, with a 15mm, 35mm, 75mm lens for it. I still enjoy using it. I find that it slows me down a bit, making me think about what I am photographing. I haven't used it for a bit. I might just dig it out of the cuboard, dust it down and give it a go!

Beautiful shot, You are making me seriously think of hauling out one of my old film cameras and shot some B&W .. man I wish I still had my Canonet :( :( as far as a rangefinder (small camera) for street shooting, that's the reason I kept my G3 when I got my D10.

That's why I'm keeping my G6 too when I got my dSLR. It is the 'rangefinder' complement to its bigger cousin. It is small, unobtrusive, able to fit inside and shoot out of a jacket's sleeve, a great street photography camera.
