Trying to decide which one would look better for me to frame:

I'd go with the colour. I like the grain of the wood and this is more visable in the colour shot. Also, the green from the background help to make the shot and contrast the brown of the wood.

In these two samples I like the color one better. I think you lost some detail in the b&w conversion.
Be interesting to see the B&W with a cool tone.

Let me try lightening that one up a bit, or going full-on sepia or something like that.

I like them both a lot, but I am leaning towards the color one.

OK, I think I fixed it on my photo hosting site to allow linking from ALL my albums! I think you should see them all now.

I like the color and sepia but would stick with the color version.

You know, the B&W shot just makes me shiver! It looks so cold. I like it a lot.
