What else can you do with this sharp lens? Last fall I was at T-Town Lehigh Velodrome, 10 PM at night, with nothing but 10D and 100mm f/2.8 macro. Marty Nothstein, Silver Medal in Atlanta 1996 and Gold in Sydney 2000 is coming off the boards, sprinting on final turn of track at 60+ Km/hour. All you can do is shoot at ISO 1600, f/4, 1/400 and hope for best 2 full stops under exposed. And people say this lens focuses slow? It ain't perfect. Canon Hi-ISO performance astonishes from this old film guy.
