I was at a dog sport trial over the weekend and took some shots of the frisbee competition.

Too bad that sign is right behind the muzzle in #2. Looks like he/she is trying to keep the back paws in bounds and still make the catch!

Good peak of action in both!

Yes, the background was a real challenge here; there was a row of RVs and tents all around the ring, about ten feet back from the white plastic fence. I have some terrific shots of dogs leaping high to catch the frisbee, but with Winnebagos in the frame.

Ha! How Fun! You captured some great motion. .. I love the teeth in #3.. LOL

I've had to shoot horses with trucks/cars/campers parked along the fence.. it can really mess up some good shots unless you spend a lot of time dropping out (or blurring) the background = even when you shoot w/f2.8 or so. (just saying it's a bummer to hear about the Winnebagos).

Yes, it was! These were the novice dogs. Unfortunately I couldn't photograph the more spectacular expert class because I was competing in the dog agility section of the trial at the same time.

Here are two more.

Is it not diificult to change lenses on your camera with your paws then? Only joking some great captures like you say pity about busy backgrounds but great work. Any more?
