Yes, my godson again . . . but it was as if he knew I had my new 20D to practice with and he was very accomodating today. Here's one that came out really nice. . . Taken w/ my 20D+Tamron 28-75+550ex+LSII.

wish I had fixed his hair before I took the shot . . oh well . . . i still like it, hope you do too ....

Way to go Mark.
That camera and lens really work well together don't they?
You work them well also. It is the magician, not the wand.
You didn't really want to fix his hair because he is perfect just the way he is. You know that.
Wait until he runs and hides whenever you bring out your cxamera. ;-)

That's nice - he has very expressive eyes (and I don't see anything wrong with his hair ... just classic little boy hair).

Nice shot Mark! His lips and eyes especially needs some sharpening, maybe just a touch under his nostrils too. Now you have his sleeve sharper than his eyes :) Just use selective sharpening with the Quick Mask. You know how to do that?

Cute little boy for sure.

Thanks for the comments, all!

Ken, I only have Photoshop Elements 3.0 and I don't think selective sharpening with quick masking is available (anyone?). Anyway, if it was, I'm still at the beginning of the learning curve, so i wouldn't even know how to do it. If anyone knows how to do it with PSE3.0, do you want to enlighten me?

That's a nice photo. I just had to comment as a college student, his hair looks very in style. I am used to the messy look and i see nothing wrong with it. Honestly.

Mark,. this is a definite "make a bunch of prints, frame 'em and send 'em to the relatives" shot! Very nice :)

Nice job. Looks like that LSII is a sweet addition. What a beautiful boy. What were your flash settings?
