Shot this also, in between shooting the Sky Tower (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=69615) in Auckland.

Looking up the tallest tower, with a reddish sky from the full moon.

Giving a bit of pespective at 17mm (17-40L) - Wish I had that 10mm everyone seems to be using,

Out the back of the church, i was dodgily creeping down in amongst the bush to get this shot. Lucky no one was around to tell me off. :p

The nice large wooden doors, enhanced a bit to give them a texture. I wasn't happy with the plain image, stupid tungsten lights.

Love the picture with the tree in the foreground and the stained glass all lit up!

#3 is great. The stained glass really adds a lot to the shot. Worth the creeping around!

Beautiful shots. The 10-22 would have done a nice job there.

I love the color windows in the church! Beautiful! And the last shot of the door is very cool. Creative shot. I like it a lot. Good work.

Wazza, as usual with your images, I can't pick a Fav. They are all wonderful. Amazing how many beautiful sites you have near your home.

Yeah, heh, this church is right in the heart of the city. I live out West, or about a 15min drive (20km or so).

Thanks everyone for the nice comments.

It's been a bit weird shooting lately by myself. Usually I have my shooting buddy, and I feel safe along these dark quiet streets.
The sky tower shots, where I was, there was one car going past every couple of minutes, and a few drunken people wandering around. So I kept avoiding them by crossing the road.
Also I must be a scary sort of figure. A woman in heels came past, but as she went past me down this quiet street, she actually ran. LOL.
