Whenever there's a fiesta in our country, aside from the sumptious meals, usually, one of the activites is a dance contest among the youth. The contest is done at the barangay's basketball court or a neighbor's (big) backyard using a makeshift stage of drums (to support the stage floor) and plywood.

More pictures please. Is it flamenca guitar for music or what? I think I see a espaniole influence in those capes...

You're right! There are spanish influence in the clothes worn by the dancers. The Philippines was once under Spanish rule. :)

Pasay? Cool. One of my best friends lives on Taylo Street. I miss going to Cartimar, a spot that every pinoy cyclist (and aquarium enthusiast) loves. Can you post some pics of it?
