My first attempt at shooting smoke!

The colors look nice but there is a strong black portion just below the top smoke image.

Is that on purpose or from the edit?

wow... well i guess i found what setting of my monitor not to edit in.... It heightened all of the blacks, so i couldn't see it. It was caused by something i had to edit out caused by my ghetto setup (no off camera flash :cry:)
