Wow I am so frustrated about this.
Received a Powershot S230 for Christmas. What a fun camera.
I select the images that I want to rotate, then click on Rotate right or left.
It ~appears~ to be doing something (the progress bar goes from left to right at the bottom of the screen, and the images, and the image picture kind of flashes off and on) but NOTHING happens.
It doesn't seem that Canon is aware of this problem.
What is an alternative? Is there any other software where I can select multiple images, then rotate them?

I have ZB 3.3 so am not familiar with ZB4. When selecting the image, do you right click to get Rotate? Is it possible with the S230 to rotate before downloading the image? I always rotate before downloading with my D60. It saves time.
Cheers

cmanly, thanks for the recommendation. I'll try one of them.
Sheila, ZB 3.3 had that. with Zoombrowser 4.0 it appears that you click on the images then click on a button. I don't recall it being a right-click option...
It seems that with Zoombrowser 4.0, I have to do more mouseclicking to do things, which is NOT an improvement.
Graphically it's prettier though.
But if Rotate doesn't work, it's useless!

ZB4 will rotate multiple selections; however, it doesn't rotate the selected image. Instead, it creates a new, rotated image and adds a "r1" to the file name. Sometimes this is difficult to notice on the small thumbnails.

You're kidding!!
Is there a new thumbnail created for the new rotated image? It just looks like the thumbnail sits there and nothing happens to it.
How bizarre...
Why would the designers have decided to do that. I don't need an extra un-rotated image lying around, especially given that the S230 takes such wondefully large sized pictures!

I always wonder about the logic of Canon ZB software folk. Why, for instance, after you change an image from colour to Black and White in Photoshop, you still get a coloured thumbnail after the change? To get a B&W thumbnail, you have to save the thumbnail yet again. So in effect, you have two coloured and one black and white of the same thumbnail. And why most times my Camera folder is transparent (ie I can see the libraries behind) when downloading images from the card reader and other times its not! And why the web helpline is completely useless?
Cheers
