Well it stopped raining enough to get out and do a little hiking, This is the lake form a rock ledge known as rock beach. I can see the rock part but it sure is a long way away for a beach.

Very nice pano!

Seems it's stopped raining everywhere. Clearing up at the moment, but don't think it will last.

Just after you go across the Seville Dam heading west it's the first right on to Beech Rock Rd. this road runs between Rte 318 and Rte 181 just before you get to the MDC headquarters there is a little parking spot. The trail is across the street which goes up to beech rock.

Thanks Reigh and Marie. Marie those aren't really slabs those are the tops of the exposed rock ledge they must be massive when your at the top it's a regular rock cliff on the other side. The puddle was at the top in a worn pocket in the rock. Very typical of the Mountains/hills we have around here.

WOW! Marie those are neat looking, they look like they were stacked to make a wall of sorts. Very old looking.
