So, does anyone have experience using the Domke PhoTogs Jacket/Vest?
I'm looking for a way to carry my extra equipment for field research such as timers, notepads, and still keep other small items/instruments handy.
If you have used this jacket, what is your opinion of it's functionality?
Thanks for any and all feedback.

Ah, yes, the Domke PhoTogs vest, the official vest of the GCPS and the RWBC. :)
Great vest with lots of pockets to keep even your big 100-400L lens within easy reach. Nets in the back keeps you from sweating like a pig even in the hottests days of summer. It's got big pockets outside and inside, front and back. :D
If you're going to have any problem with this vest, it's going to be remembering which pocket you put your things in. :o

Anybody try the LowePro Vests? Since I have already started with Lowepro products, I like the idea of getting a vest that can accomodate "already purchased" stuff.

Not sure if the brand really matters, purchase what will work for you. I have Lowepro, Tamrac & Domke bags. The vest I picked due to the many pockets and it being well airy & lightweight since I use it in this Vegas heat.
