These shots are good examples of the value (to me) of having the 10-22 lens on a 1.6 sensor camera. To get all the chapel in the frame required 16 mm. The kit lens almost made it, but not quite (without stepping back into water). I had to correct for perspective, but that would be also the case with any other lens from so close.

Other people had to go around the pond and take a longer shot. From that perspective, I was able to get much more in the scene, including the reflection (in the filthy water).

Inside the chapel, 10 mm was enough to get the entire width of the room. This was a 1 second exposure at f 11, ISO 100.

The Chapel shows amazing craftsmanship. Nice images.

Now I can see clearly what magic the 10-22mm can do. That's really narrow between the chapel door and the pond. Thanks for sharing, Stan.

Those are incredible shots. The 10-22mm is my next lens.

Stan,
Thanks for showing this.
The photos are great. I like them all, but that entrance is really the one that grabs me.

Kind of cool! I always love the stain glass windows. Very pretty.
