Got out a little early yesterday and decided to shoot some more baseball. Starting pitcher threw a 1 hitter. Our team is now 13-5.

All shots are M at f/2.8, ISO 200, Shutter between 1/2500 and 1/4000.

I used Noise Ninja for the first time just to clean them up and was very impressed with the program.

I have to start practicing with the cloning tool. Some of the backgrounds are brutal.

C&C Welcome and Encouraged...

1. I love this background. Used it before for our other starter...

4. This kid is amazing. This was an RBI single. Yes. Only one hand. Born like that.

5. I know you can tell it's an out, but the facial expression is great.

Quality set of shots you've got there. #1, #3, #4 and #7 and perfect in my opinion. Not a whole lot you can do about the background in that situation. I agree with you, Noise Ninja has saved quite a few shots of mine and I wouldn't be without it now.

Thanks. I'm still working at it. I have to get my PS skills up too.

They look good, doc. Pic #1 needs a tweak on the horizon to level it out. The rest look OK. Is there any way to get in a position to help eliminate/minimize the distracting background? I have that trouble also, especially with softball/ T-Ball and the like.

Great set, make sure you go to Noise Ninja and download the profiles for your camera. Sure makes a difference.

Got the profiles. Amazing program.

I noticed the Horizon of course after I put them up. I printed it out too. Oh well.

Thanks all,
Doc
