Recently I re-templated my personal website, just looking for a review / critique.
Keep in mind that this is more a personal gallery / BLOG than it is a professional business site (which is to be built after).

Thanks all,

1: Arial I presume? Don't like it, get something bolder.
2: The tiny blue arrows are so tiny and so close to the backgroundcolour that they are hard to see
3: The orange is very unexpected, in a negative way.
4: Header not clickable
5: I find it quite annoying, in general, to have categories of something, and only being able to choose a subcategory if there is one. Your gallery is no different.
6: In the gallery, You have a double arrow. This looks like a fastforwardbutton, but is just for the next picture, because you have slideshow by default. I'd just loose the slideshow, and get an ordinary next-button for it.
7: The "Display Num" stands out radically
8: You have an RSS-feed, but it doesn't show up in my addressbar in Firefox
9: The icons of PDF, E-mail and Print are hopelessly outdated, look like they're ripped from Windows 95, and don't fit with the page at all.
10: Quite a few buttons, like when submitting a guestbookentry, are almost invisible.
11: The "Send"-button is far off to the left
12: Very long URLs

Jonta,
Want to thank you for the review... was very indepth and concise. The joys of web devolopment, always missing the little things. Many of those I didn't even realize, the orange and blue arrows for example are a remanant of my old design I had completely forgot about. The 'invisible' send buttons I wasn't even aware off, should be a quick adjustment in CSS. Unfortanitely I cannot do anything about the long URLs, atleast that I know of. Its a limitation of the JOOMLA CMS.
A couple quick questions...
with regards to
1) do you recommend any specific fonts...
7) which 'display num' are you refering to?
Thanks for taking the time...

I use 'Trebuchet MS'.
The black background and the gray text is a bit hard to read.
