View Full Version : Not so good Palmer Audi drivers

Well, I decided to go to a part of the circuit this morning where few photogs venture as it is quite a long walk and most of my fellows are a bit lazy. I have been accused by the marshals of being an accident magnet, which I strongly deny of course. Well, today was a bit of a crash-fest at this particular corner (Druids for those that know Oulton Park) with Palmer Audis skipping across the gravel trap to demolish the barriers and causing lots of red flags.

It really started with number 6 who was either asleep at the wheel, or simply hopeless:

Not long after, number 7 launched himself across the gravel trap and speared the barrier big style:

Not to be outdone, no sooner had they repaired the barrier and along came number 4 who slammed into it next to me:

Oh, remember number 6, well one lap after the last barrier repair:

The next post will be of some very pretty Ferraris. We only lost one of the into the barrier today and it did more damage to the barrier than a Sherman tank.

I really do love my job............

It's surprising how many marshals believe that myth and how many photographers get called "accident magnets"... however in your case it might be true... could it be "the hat" is distracting the poor drivers? :p

In all honesty though, I don't think the FPA boys ever need any help in finding the barriers.

Nice work :D

I thought that at rallyecross, drivers rather use threaded tires

Best regards,
