Here are a few more of her just messing around. What do you think? I'm hoping to get some really good ones of her eventually, they seem to be getting better though. They are MUCH better than the first 2 sets that were posted

Thanks everyone, She is beautiful (but I guess i'm partial too:D )
I think they still arn't quite right. Color, WB somethhing.... They just look a bit off (photos 2 & 3 more so than the first one.) Maybe it's just me. What do you think.

Very nice shots, she's lovely. I think your WB is a little off, there seems to be an overall green tint to them especially 2 and 3.

Nice job capturing the color in her eyes. Does she happen to have a sister that does taxes? She looks a lot like my tax lady!

WOW ! Does she have a sister that ownes a liquor store ;-)

All kidding aside, how did you set the white ballance? The custom WB
works great if you have it.....

Nice eyes, beautiful smile! What are you using as far as camera lens and light? What settings are you shooting in? If your shooting all auto try using some other settings in A-DEP for example on a Canon. All of those questions are vital to coloration and exposure. Try shooting her white shirt only first to calibrate your white balance.

What LOVELY photos you took they are so clear and professional looking (not to mention flattering to your model)! You must be a happy guy to have such a lovely wife. :D

Hope you don't mind I played with levels and coloring a bit. Is this any better?

The problem with this model is that any bad photos are obviously your fault.
Great photos of a gorgeous girl.

I did a custom WB, but I'm not sure if I'm doing it right. (new to this :) )
The photos were shot in Manual Mode, Custom WB, 1/100, f5.0 and one 110ws studio strobe at about a 45degree angle. Camera is a G3

They are all great photos & she has lovely eyes !

Thank you so much. As you can see by the replies, she gets that about her eyes all the time.

She is beautiful but you definitely have a color cast toward green. Possibly some yellow too. Try editing in PS. Go into curves and choose the red channel. Drag the curve toward red just a tad by grabbing the line somewhere between the midpoint and the top quarter.

Of course, you can do this on its own layer so play around with it til you get what you like.

Thanks Charles, I'll try that... I'm still getting used to that software, it's kinda overwhelming at first:confused: :)

I'll post the adjusted ones too.

Very beautiful wife! And some good shots too. I like the first and third ones. Third being my favorite. The toes are annoying me in the first. They seem so tense. I'd like it more if her toes were relaxed.

Actually thats the studio that I'm working on. :) It's getting there, I just got done laying the flooring. I should have my background stand this week. I will be placing an order for my lights probably the beginning of next week. The room is about 13 X 20 I'll post some photos of it when it's done.

Excellent!

To fix the greenish color cast,. you can either do it by setting a custom white balance before taking the pic,.

...or by using one of several methoids in Photoshop, including the eyedropper in photoshop-levels. My bet is this is what sugar_babygirli did,.. just use the WB eyedropper on the hotter parts of the white shirt ;)
