How'd I do? Any CC would be great...I can still make changes before they are ordered. All shot with CanonS5. Hopefully they aren't too bad...for free anyway:lol:

I think this one needs a contrast boost looking at it now...

Cute shots. I dont much care for the angle in which the one of them together is shot at. The first shot seems a bit too hot in small areas. As for the comment made by Chrisu002, I wouldnt say softness went out in the nineties. You just have to apply it to the correct picture. Some images just do not look good with added softness, while others do. I have seen a few of your images Chris (the ones in which you did not take off RIGHT after you posted them) Some of yours have been a bit soft as well so its kinda like the pot calling the kettle black. You seem to crit everyone's images while doing some of the same things to your images as well. Just my 2cents...sorry.

Thanks for the comments Christy. Ive actually seen your work and its great so I appreciate the help. The angle of them together is not very good but its 1 of 2 that I got of them both so I had to use it, the lil one literally threw a fit and would not let me take his picture so I just had to take what I got (I bribed the bigger one with going out side lol)

Please forgive me if I sound rude but like Christy said I've noticed your negativity...looks to me like if you can so quickly pick out what is wrong with someone else's picture you might could get some of your own that don't "suck" as you put it, or at least be brave enough to leave them posted for everyone else to crit. Not trying to be ugly just throwing that out there....

just because i tell you what i think is wrong with the picture why do you have to take it as i am being negative. if i tell you your pictures are great then you will continue to take the same great pictures, but if i point out the flaws in the picture you will start to recognise them and it will improve you photography.

Probably because you use quotes such as "that went out in the nineties" which sounds a bit rude. I have used somewhat of a glow on a few of my pictures and i have seen many photographers on here do the same. And the remark you made about one fellow member about her watermark. Im sure they are watermarked for a reason! so...there ya have it.

Great shots! I love the first 2....
Did you have any problems getting the kids to stay focus and not move? I am trying to start a Kids Photography (specailizing in Portraits for kids) but I heard its pretty hard.
Do you have an assistant or was this done in a house?

Sorry it took me so long to reply...I didn't see your post until now. Yes....major problems but I just kept clicking away and managed to get off a few keepers. This was done in my studio aka...my kitchen lol! I put the backdrop up and drape it over my kitchen table in front of a huge bay window. Their mom was there to keep the lil one from diving off the table.
