Hi there,
My Cybersync Transmitter just arrived. It cannot slide easily into my hotshoe like the flash, is this normal, in fact i am very afraid to force it in because i tried this on the off shoe cord and it required incredible strenth to pull it out.

Should i return it for exchange.

Since there's no locking ring they are on the snug side when pushing into the hotshoe. However, it should not be too much more force than pushing in a flash.
Make sure the foot is parallel to the hotshoe. If that still does not work, you may need to call them.
Did you look closely at the edge of the foot to make sure there are no burrs?

Mine is very snug to slide on and off.
