I was a guest, so please go easy on me lol... no really blast them away. The hired photographers where using 35mm Nikon camers. When I pulled out my 20d with the Tamron 28-75 they were like yeah whatever. Then I pulled out the beast 70-200 2.8 L no IS that I purchased this weekend, there mouths hit the floor. I stayed out of there way with 70-200 and took some close face shots. Also was only using the built in flash, my next purchase is the 420 speedlite, Please let me know what you think...I'm new to all of this...

You have a very good eye for composition. Here's a phrase not often said: "quit you day job" (and become a full time photographer!)
Is it me, or are the inset pics in the last photo squased vertically?
BTW, very good looking couple! Offer to do a photo shoot with them some time. It would be a great start to your portfolio.
Cheers

Nice photos, and a good job with the editing too :)
I just keep seeing more and more excuses to get that 70-200 IS lens...

Thanks for the nice feedback guys, I really appreciate. Yeah my wife says I have a totally different eye then hers when I compose things. From you words that sounds like a good thing. When I resized the photo's in photoshop using the free transfor feature I held the alt key to keep the ratio at line, but I guess I did that wrong, cause your right they do look a little screwy.
I was using the 70-200 without IS, I can only imagine in this senario how the IS would of helped out. But I mostly shoot sports so I couldn't afford to fork out the extra 8-900 cdn.
One thing I'm telling yeah that the 200 rocks.. it's truely an amazing lens, combined with that tamron 28-75 you have a killer combination. I'm going to ad the 1.4x times to my kit and I think I'm done.... oh and a 420 flash, oh and a 17-40 oh oh oh I want everything lol...

NICE PICTURES
the first frame's "paul & caroline is a bit harsh; the white gradiant is distracting
