Scored a birdie on the first hole

Played a round of golf today and heard the grackles making a ruckus, so the hubby and I took a look and saw a Great Horned Owl high up in a tree. The owner of the course said the owl had been there all morning.
We went back at the end of the day to get some pictures. The lighting wasn't the best so we had the 100-400 with 1.4x TC up on a tripod. I bumped the iso to 400 to get 1/80sec with the f8. The second picture is a 100% crop.

Nice! If you mount a 1/4" X 20 bolt on the handle of your driver, you can always have your cam ready in the future!
