I'm wondering what you think of this photo I took at the Safari park.

It's a striking image. However, the composition could be improved. Sometimes a centered subject is okay (portraits). Other times, it's better to put the subject in one third of the shot, looking in to it. The feathers on the right are more subdued. Try cropping them out. The problem then becomes that the critter is looking out of the image instead of into the center, which is another composition problem. In the best of all worlds, you would be able to replicate the conditions, put the bird on the right and wait for him to turn his head toward the center.
