Thank you, thank you thank you. POTN taught me everything and please more feedback is appreciated!
10 hour wedding with over 2k pictures just to be safe...lol all Shot RAW and then PP in LR.
I shot IS0200-400 outdoors and 800 Indoors with bounced flash. At night I shot IS01600 to 6400. Every time I went indoors and out I forgot to switch the IS0 over and lost some good shots, but I won't make that mistake again.
Tips for newbies which definitely helped me out is bringing the .9 neutral density filter to keep my 50mm at f1.4. iso 50
The 50 is my new best friend and makes it all perfect. I don't ever want to get my hands on the 50 f1.2 L or even the 50 f1.0 L
Best approach for me for Indoors was Manual 1/60 at f4 is400 with a bounced flash at +1 in TTL mode and out doors was best in Aperture Priority and set the meter to under expose by 1 full stop just in case I didn't want to lose any data to a blowout.
I love you RAW! so many pictures saved!
Anyone who doesn't shoot a wedding Raw, doesn't know what they are missing!

Congrats! You have good gear for the work and you have a good eye for composition. I use very little flash in my work, I try to avoid it. My 5DII is wonderful at ISO 3200 so I use that most of the time in dark conditions. But shining some light into faces is quite acceptable for close-ups to get the colors right. I hate shining light into babys' faces, but sometimes, just a little light than high ISO and slow shutter. It's a fine line.

Thank you Suzy.It means a lot coming from you. Yes I could have shot that baby shot at a lower IS0 but as usual this was one of those quick shots where I didn't even have a second to capture the moment. or even 1/60th of a second! lol BTW that shot was at ISO 6400 no flash. Looked great on the back of the camera, then at home the grain really came out

since I like b&w a lot (specially when shot on film) I've edited the b&w one a bit as It looks very flat to me, hope you don't mind :)

all I did was play a bit with levels & curves

Thanks Ockie. I like your style> now you made me realize there is a spec on her right shoulder. I thought it was a dead pixel for a moment.....shwoooo
After going thru 2,000 I found another jewel.
Geesh, the ratio of keepers to trashers are worse odds then Vegas!

Nice set for a first timer. It could be my monitor here at work but on 3 and your last one the WB looks to be on the cool side as her dress, his shirt, table cloths all look a tad blue. If it is my monitor here I apologize :-)

I really like the perspective with the tattoo on the arm. Creative. I think that gets you a lot further than technical knowledge does. :)
