Lets see your "Gloomy day" shots

Right now its pretty gloomy out side, cloudy, a bit damp with spurts of rain. Hardly any sun, the type of weather most people look out there window and say, "Forget shooting today!"

But I am sure not everyone thinks that, so if you are one of those people who don't let a cloudy, gloomy, rainy day stop you from going out side with the gear, hows about posting some of your shots taken under these conditions and maybe give those of use who say, "it looks too bady to get any decent shots today!" some inspiration :cool:

Sometimes I shoot on those days as the climate is not so good here... I use flash and focus on droplets, snow, yellow leaves. I need more light to get some contrast out of the scene. Here is a humble example (shot on a gloomy and rainy autumn day, no post processing).

During the drive from Dresden back to Stuttgart I was complaining that "I wanna take some pictures!" The weather was crappy, it was raining, it was dark, the light was featureless, etc, etc. Finally Marcia said, "Then take your damn pictures and shut up!" Boy, am I glad she did say that!

All on Lake Champlain-I find some of the best shots come during gloomy days, or right when they decide to end!
