Now the frogspawn has all hatched and the tadpoles are searching the depths of the pond, I decided to snap a few shots of the other creatures surrounding the wildife hub of the garden.

It must be ladybird season because they were everywhere, they're great little bugs to shoot too because they don't often fly off. Shame they don't have any interest in the ladybird nest box we set up last year for them, oh well.

I would say that your photos are pretty amazing. I really like the ladybug ones. Something about red bugs and green leaves that work together. :)

1,3, and 5 are fantastic! I love them! Awesome job. Done with a macro lens?

Thanks for the comments.

I wish I had a macro lens, all shots were either on manual focus or on the A80's macro setting. I'm hoping to buy a 350d soon.

Fantastic shots, love them all particularly the red beetle and the caterpillar. Real sharp and clear.
