What's the mimimum studio light power to freeze the movement of a typical fashion shoots? I.e to freeze a moving subject who keep changing pose in a split second.

Power has nothing to do with it. Studio strobes freeze motion because of their short flash durations. Whatever the power, just shoot at max x-sync to minimize ambient light, and you should freeze them pretty well.

johnboy00, then is it a small power light has a lower max sync or the max sync is depend on the camera and not the light?

max sync is determined by the camera.

Higher power settings on flash units tends to normally result in LONGER duration flashes...the flash output is increased like running a hose to fill a bucket, bigger bucket you run the hose longer! (There are a few flashes that do not operate in this manner, but typical ones do.)
