Love the first one, looks like a drawing almost. I just wish the mill was slightly more central between the trees in the second.

I like the comp in the first one much better.
Good looking shots.

These have the look of Currier & Ives lithographs. While I like the second landscape orientation, the two large trees in the foreground seem more to obstruct, rather than frame the mill. The trees are just too dominant. In the first image, we get a better view of the mill which is, after all, the purported subject. The upper half is filled with a tree canopy, which is not terribly interesting, but nevertheless I like both of these photos. They have a quaint, timeless look about them.

Thank you for the wonderful critique! Maybe your right with the second picture. The trees are just too dominant... Even that the main theme in this picture was the "mill and the nature." Although I wanted to capture those very nicely shaped trees too. The main idea was that the mill is from wood and I wanted to join these two. Thanks for your time!

Like the first one very much - but could do with a bit more oooooooomph in the contrast IMO to darken it up a bit perhaps?
Think with the 2nd shot the trees are masking what is supposed to be the subject, rather than using them as a frame - they lead your eye away from the mill.
Overall it's a rather picturesque mill though - nice place!
