Travelled North of the Border on Sunday for the SMRC raceday at Knockhill, the main reason for being there was the Northern Sports & Saloons were visiting for the day, anyway here's a selection from the day

These are great. I only saw one car that had more than two wheels on the ground and some had less. Wild!

Super shots!

Is the gap in the fence still there?

Looks like you had a good day Ian and the long trip was worth it. I can't see any rain, what went wrong?

Did you try Duffas and notice the forest of tannoy speakers in the shot these days?

Nice shots. I am debating Superbikes at Oulton or the Rallycross at Croft - decisions, decisions. May see you at the weekend or at F3/GT for sure.

Very nice Ian. I love the Alpine - good to see one of them being used in anger!

Great shots Ian - was there no fog at Knockhill - don't think I've ever been there without fog and the start being delayed!!!

Mal

I take it you mean the rather large hole in the fence next to the chicane;) Yes I did notice it, quite conviently positioned:D

It was a great day Ken, some of the grids were small (most of the Legends were off racing at another circuit:p ) but the NSSCC and the SMRC classic sports and saloons made up for it, didn't try Duffas, spent the day around by Glenvarigill and the chicane and the weather was fantastic, even got a touch of sunburn:D

I should be at the rallycross next.

Yes. Couldn't get near it at the BTCC last time out. Guess I'll need to get there a bit earlier next time. Cheers.

Quality shots Ian. I'm happy if I get one shot with an airbourne car!

Very nice, you managed to get them all when they were in the air.

Excellent stuff Ian, as usual, the shot of the Sunbeam Alpine reminded me of the first rally accident I ever saw. It was an Alpine that fell into a ditch on speccy sunday on a late 80's RAC in Clumber Park (those were the days). The same day an MGA understeered into a tree, no major casualties if I remember correctly.
